Delay of the Inevitable

I know I know...its been almost a month.  Bad Baby Bad Baby!!  Well after the Holidays I finally weighed myself on Monday.  223.2.  Up 3.2 pounds over the Holidays. Not tooooo bad I guess.  Considering I took 3 days off for Christmas and 2 for New Years and had numerous cheats in between!!!  So I am not totally disappointed  after all it is only once per year right?  I have not measured myself yet. I feel pretty bloated still so I will wait on that one.  But oh my goodness was the food good...MMM MMM MMM!!  What did I eat???  Lots of chocolate...I made chocolate coffee truffles, (holy hell they were good!)  Chocolate bark, chocolate cookies, shortbread, chocolate pretzels, Giraridelli chocolates, Russel Stover Chocolates.  Pretty much anything chocolate.  Have I told you I love chocolate???  For Christmas dinner we had a ham roast, green bean casserole and broccoli and cauliflower casserole (not to carby!) I made this AWESOME trifle that has layers of CREAM, berries, yellow cake and orange/amaretto sauce.  Son of a Bitch!  Had to be some of the best stuff I have ever put in my mouth that wasn't chocolate!!!  It tasted even better 3 days after I made it.  CREAM...is the best.

On New Years I had tamales, posole, queso n chips, M&M's, pistachios, and beans.  I had a couple glasses of Disaronno on the rocks and a beer too!!!!

So yes...I ate like an absolute pig, with wild abandonment.  3.2 pounds???  NICE!!!

But here we are.  Back on it and getting to it.  I feel like I really need to work out to get better results.  Tim says not to overdo it and get soar all the time.  So I am thinking Insanity might be taking it too far (although the results are freakin' awesome...not that I lost weight last time I did it...but I was way fitter and stronger!!) I don't know what I will do.  Maybe just walk 3 times a week and see how things go.  I have an awesome friend that does pilates on line, I'm thinking about doing a session with her once a week.  I need a webcam first though.

I am doing much better at taking pics of my meals.  I have a smartphone (yes I have joined the modern world, thanks to my wonderful hubby!) and got the slowcarbdiet app, which organizes all of your pictures of your meals.  So I will be able to post more pics of food.  I don't want to do ALL of them, cause this whole Blog would just be pictures of meals.  But I will do more!  I really need to figure out how to send pics to this blog from my phone...haven't got there yet.  But next post...will be from my phone...how about that!  Ok, now I'm gonna figure it out.  The boys are asleep so I have about 30-45 minutes.  Sionara bitches!!!
